Re: [ptp-user] problem in parallel debug on local machine!
|
Marcus, thanks for the pointer. I was able to view it with VLC.
The problem is that PTP 2.1 does not support debugging of MPICH2
applications. I've replaced the MPICH2 resource manager with an
experimental new one in 2.1.1 that does support debugging. Please try
the latest 2.1.1 build from http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/builds/2.1.1
to see if it fixes the problem. I suggest starting with a clean
Eclipse installation and a new workspace in order to avoid any
preference issues.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Greg,
flv is flash video, which plays fine in the VLC media player.

Hi Ali,
I can't open the video for some reason. Are you able to provide
some other format? If not, please describe your configuration and
the steps to repeat the problem.
Thanks,
Greg

Hello to ptp community:
i want to debug mpi pi c++ project but i can not see any machine
in parallel debug
window. i can run application in ptp runtime perspective and there
is no problem.
i made a video of what i do to creat and debug pi c++ project ( i
think it will be much
more clear than explaining to you ). file is attached i tried to
reduce its size by converting
it to flv. video is 150 seconds. and i should say this is my first
experience of eclipse ( I have
not used eclipse even for simple application before :).
