I was just about to say that was the problem :-).
We'll add a check for the existence of gdb and make the error message
more meaningful.

realized that it indeed wasnt installed. On installing it, the
parallel debugger now seems to be working. So, Im crossing my

Okay, I reran the debug with SDM set with --debug=8. Below is
the output
from it. Quite a bit of information, I hope it makes more sense to
you than
me.
We are really looking forward to debugging with eclipse, so I will
go to any
lengths to get this to work. Just let me know what i need to do!
