[ptp-dev] PTP 8.0.1 release is close - test please!

We have a candidate build for the 8.0.1 release at

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ptp/builds/8.0.1/

For my sanity this is now at: ptp-master-8.0.1.201407111916.zip

However, I think i see some more bug fixes going in so we might have another.

Some tweaks in launch mechanism have occurred, so testing, esp. on trestles.sdsc.edu where we are teaching our XSEDE tutorial on Monday,

would be greatly appreciated!

Please test from e.g.

(a)  luna parallel package plus updating with URL above, or

(a)  our own built parallel package on the URL above.

Remember, testing from your development machine doesn't mean it runs on what we build!
