A question about the “Eclipse for Parallel Application Developers” (PAD Eclipse)…
We installed additional plugins like cdt, eclox, egit, mylyn, shell-ed, vrapper, etc in our current Eclipse (3.7.1). I see the PAD Eclipse comes w/ some of
these plugins already embedded (i.e. cdt, egit and mylyn). Would I be able to upgrade said plugins at a later date in the PAD Eclipse (install on top of PAD)? We need the option to stay current. Thanks

Right, I think you're a more typical PTP user (not a developer), no problem!
Instructions at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/release_notes/6.0 Are probably more
appropriate.
You may have already done this.
Just make sure you install all of RDT - that is where the Remote C/C++ Perspective is.. Or to be sure install all of PTP.
The "Eclipse for Parallel Application Developers" all-in-one download makes it easy.
