Wyatt,
I'd put everything in ptp-master on the DVD.
If you already had GEM maybe that's what you did.
The "Eclipse IDE for Parallel Application Developers" only includes the core parts of ptp-master that don't have other pre-reqs.
I'd get them all for the DVD.
Thanks for doing this!

Wyatt,
The fresh new GEM workspace is at:
http://www.cs.utah.edu/formal_verification/ISP-Eclipse/misc/workspace-gem.tar.gz
Projects (managed build and Makefile) include many common MPI errors and some classic misusages of MPI wildcards that result in deadlock.

Wyatt,
We'll also need the new version ISP (the underlying verification engine that GEM uses) installed. The link to the tarball is:
http://www.cs.utah.edu/formal_verification/ISP-release/tarball/isp-0.3.0.tar.gz
You should only need to use --prefix when configuring. I will also need this location to finish the workspace I have going now. Need to point GEM to ISP...
Thanks for your efforts Wyatt.

What is the location of the MPI installation within the live-dvd environment?

Ah, great! It was already in, hence my inability to find it.

Wyatt,
It's under General Purpose Tools, just underneath PTP ETFw TAU Extension (just checked).

Hi Wyatt,
Would you please add GEM. If I created an updated GEM workspace to use, how soon would you need this?
Thanks,
Alan

Greetings,
I need to set up the live-dvd environment today. My current plan is to start with the ptp-eclipse build from the main download page and add the tau-specific plugins. Is there anything else I should add that isn't installed by default? (Gem/UPC stuff etc?) And should I install the 5.0.1 release candidate or go with what we have now?
Thanks,
Wyatt
