Re: [ptp-dev] Respin of epp-parallel package available: RC5

One last thing tested: legacy OpenMPI RM, this checks out fine.

More on the “fluke” – it looks like the 8 core attempts dumped core.  Nothing in stdout, nothing in stderr (outside of the prologue/epilogue for stdout).

Running –np 8 on a head node worked.  Very strange.

Beth,

Tried normal remote tools project, that seems fine – clean and build works without problem.

Batch PBS-JAXB – yesterday’s trial repeated today, worked fine, this with 1 node, 4 cores – one weird thing, was that trying 8 cores resulted in no output.  I’ll consider that a fluke for the moment

Interactive pbs-jaxb – worked ok too –

So, this limited bit of testing panned out fine, Beth –

[epp-dev] Indigo respin - RC5 EPP packages

Since everybody is reading the cross-projects mailing list (you do, don't you?) you have seen that there is a severe bug 349105 that made it necessary to rebuild the Indigo common repository and as a consequence all EPP packages. See bug 349267 for a general overview of what's going on and how it is coordinated.

I started a new package build in Hudson

  https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/indigo.epp-package-build/39/

and its output can be found here

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20110615-0608/

When this build is ready and if it is successful, I will ask for testing and voting once again.

Thanks, Markus_______________________________________________
