Re: [ptp-dev] Unable to create remote C/C++ project with M6 build

Yeah, the epp-cpp M6 build from http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20110316-0628/
fails for me too. I posted to cdt-dev.
See http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/cdt-dev/msg21453.html - NPE doesn't have any CDT in the stack, very strange.

Vivian, just wondering: do you know when the API change in CDT happened? I'm hoping it was fairly recent since i could have sworn I tested Remote project creation fairly recently.
Lessons learned: our epp-parallel build forces us to see results of building with THE most recent CDT!

So, I guess our M6 build in the repository and our epp-parallel M6 build are toast.
Oh well. A nightly build shortly will rectify that.

There is something different/wrong with the latest CDT builds. I just tried 201103111109 but it has the same problem: masses of missing required plugin messages.

At this stage I don't know what else to do, so we'll just have to mark M6 down as a fail and hope we can get this resolved before M7.

Unless I can get this resolved tonight, we'll miss the M6 window.

I was able to create a remote C/C++ project in my dev environment (with latest from CDT and PTP HEAD streams). Looks like PTP was building against a pre-2011 CDT. I've updated our build scripts to use the CDT Indigo M6 build.

Beth, please kick off a new build.

I just tried to create a remote C/C++ project with the M6 build and remote tools using the 3/16 Eclipse parallel Indigo build. When I click finish in the project wizard I get the following dialog but nothing in the error log
