Re: [ptp-dev] What CDT for HEAD ...

Yes you'll need build against CDT 8.0 (HEAD) for PTP HEAD (PTP 5.0). You should move to Eclipse 3.7 but so far I haven't seen any compile errors when I use Eclipse 3.6.x with CDT HEAD so it might still work with Eclipse 3.6.1.

UPC and XL support from CDT are available on Helios site but they are not easy to find (make sure group by category option is unchecked):

[ptp-dev] What CDT for HEAD ...

I've been meaning to ask this but haven't gotten around to it until now.

I'm currently using Helios 3.6.1, with C/C++ Development Tools 7.0.1.201009141542.  There are things in pldt and rdt which don't want to build against it (looks like it wants CDT 8).  I've not bothered with this until now, but since I'll need to run the demo at the BOF out of HEAD, I need to fix this.  Should I install CDT 8?  Does this require me to move to Eclipse 3.7?  What is HEAD supposed to be?

also, the CDT 7 on the Helios site doesn't seem to have the UPC and XL support stuff.  Where do I get that?

Thanks, Al
