[ptp-dev] Download stats

Just read the below...

>From the sound of things on the call, Greg has rigged something up. Greg, can you tell us what granularity it currently tracks? I.e. is it just downloads of "anything PTP" or is it broken down by features?

[eclipse.org-committers] Download stats for p2 and Helios

Sent by:

Greetings,

As you may know, p2 now has a mechanism to track download requests. We've always been tracking ZIP downloads from our website, but update downloads were not being tracked since the Update Manager went out of style.

If you wish to produce download statistics for your project,
you must update your p2 repository. Please see the document below for information about enabling download stats, and querying the database.

If you wish to discuss this issue in more detail, of if you need assistance, please subscribe to (and post on) the cross-project-issues-dev mailing list:

Thanks,

Denis
