Ok, to muddy things further...

As it stands now, HEAD will compile. However, RDT won't work very well. Index based features will be completely broken.

I have a fix, but it's entangled with the churn on the EFSFileSystemUtility API (see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=291815). So, if I check it in now, it would mean that HEAD would compile fine against CDT HEAD, but not compile against CDT RC1.

I am inclined to wait with my checkins till tomorrow in order to allow for a clean build to happen, and then my changes would make it into RC2. That means that you shouldn't really bother with installing/trying the RC1 build of RDT though.

Everyone OK with that?

You won't get a compile error.

I think I'll have a fix for the issue today anyway, so building tomorrow should be OK.

A reminder that the Helios RC1 build for PTP is tomorrow (assuming that CDT RC1 is available). Please make sure you have everything updated to the latest versions to ensure that the build is successful.
