Ok, thanks.

Does that mean the DSTORE_TRACING_ON option is no longer needed/used?

We got rid of all the System.out.println() calls in the RDT server and replaced them with calls to the RSE logging facility. It writes the log to the .eclipse directory under your user home directory. The logging behavior can be changed by editing the file rsecomm.properties in the server install directory. By default it only writes errors to the log but you can set it up to print a ton of debug messages, and to print to stdout if you prefer that.

[ptp-dev] dstore server

The dstore server no longer seems to display any log messages. I tried
setting -DDSTORE_TRACING_ON=true but it doesn't seem to make any
difference. is there something else I need to do?
