Re: [ptp-dev] PBS resource manager

Hi,

We, Leibniz Supercomputing Centre (LRZ, Munich, Germany) is also interested in collaborating. At LRZ, we are using PBS Pro on our SGI Altix 9700 machine. In addition, we are currently involved in the EU project, DEISA (http://www.deisa.eu), which is actively integrating PTP into eleven European supercomputing centres, including LRZ, EPCC (Scotland), CSC (Finland), who are all using PBS Pro.

Cheers,
Cerlane

We use PBS a lot over here.  I don't have much experience with the PTP's resource manager system but I would be happy to help with this effort, even if it's just testing.

Hello everyone,

My name is Al(bert) Rossi; I am a Research Programmer at NCSA (National Center for Supercomputing Applications) at U. of Illinois, Urbana, currently working as a member of the Blue Waters software team.  I have been developing full-time in Java for a little over 7 years now, and in Eclipse for about 4.

As a new participant in ptp-dev, my current, modest goal is to contribute the missing launch functionality to the PBSResourceManager plug-ins (org.eclipse.ptp.rm.pbs.proxy, org.eclipse.ptp.rm.pbs.core, org.eclipse.ptp.rm.pbs.ui).

If anyone else is already working on this, or wishes to collaborate, I would be quite happy to discuss this with her.

Thank you for your attention,

Al
