[ptp-dev] time to branch for 2.1.1?

Hi everyone.

I am thinking it is becoming time to branch the repository. We have some new RDT features that are approaching completion that we will want to put in for for the next major release (2.2 I assume), but don't want to put into 2.1.1. Also, I want to soon start getting RDT working against Eclipse 3.5 and CDT 6.0.

Does anyone have a problem with me branching the repo? Do we have a naming convention for branches already?
