I think the test plan is incorrect. I seem to remember that we had trouble getting the exit code from orte. Maybe this is something Craig could look at for 2.0?

I don't see any exit code in the process view.  (Never saw one before either. Is test plan correct?)
Under Process details, it just says "Status: exited"
