Agreed on all that - moving to CDT 3.1 and Eclipse 3.2...
I brought up the PLDT (MPI and OpenMP tools) under CDT 3.1 right after
meeting with Craig last week, and most of the errors seemed to be
with the new PDOM stuff.
I will get to those fixes as quickly as I can but am busy with some other
stuff right now.

Just to clarify. Until 3.2 is officially released, we'll be building
against the latest Stream Stable Builds (Eclipse 3.2RC2 and CDT
3.1RC0 at the moment).
