Unfortunately, with the wiki, there isn’t
really that concept of “root”. I’ve learned that the hard way
(check out http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Overview
:).
Whenever you create a new page, you need
to specify the full path of it. Standardizing on a path will help people find
stuff and help you avoid conflict with others (hmmm, I wonder if someone else
will want to make an Overview page …).

OK I have a question
about the wiki URL.
If you go to the wiki page in your note below, it takes you to (for our
project)
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Parallel_Tools_Platform
and that looks right, you put some info there, Greg.
But if you follow the link in your subsequent note about the upcoming
conference call (and paste the URL back together) , it takes you to
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/PTP/meetings/April_2006
But there is also nothing at http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/PTP
So, my question is, is the root of our wiki at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Parallel_Tools_Platform
or at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/PTP
?

I've started a PTP wiki on http://wiki.eclipse.org.
I'd like to use
this for developer information mainly (meeting notes, etc.) but feel
free to put anything on there you would like. Eventually I'd like to
transition most of the PTP web pages onto the wiki so it is easier to
maintain.
Currently only committers can modify the wiki pages. To set up an
account, use the 'create an account or log in' link on the top right
corner of the main page. You need to enter your committer username
and password.
