Re: [platform-swt-dev] How to bring F2 to MacOS X, step 2
|
Hi,
I just did Step 2 and got F2 up and running on MacOSX. Really nice work!
- uncompress and mount the attached archive 'Eclipse.dmg.gz'
This is a kind of pitfall, because the attached archive is in BinHex
format (at least I got it in this format). You can use StuffIt to
convert it.
- copy the file 'MRJApp.properties' into Contents/Resources/Java
Actually the file must be copied to Contents/Resources
When I started Eclipse the first time I got this message
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.runtime 2 1 Jun 05, 2002 11:52:59.32
!MESSAGE Problems encountered loading the plug-in registry.
!SUBENTRY 1 org.eclipse.core.runtime 2 1 Jun 05, 2002 11:52:59.33
!MESSAGE Unknown extension point "org.eclipse.pde.ui.source" specified
in plug-in "org.eclipse.sdk.macosx.carbon".
!SUBENTRY 1 org.eclipse.core.runtime 2 1 Jun 05, 2002 11:52:59.34
!MESSAGE Unknown extension point "org.eclipse.pde.ui.source" specified
in plug-in "org.eclipse.platform.macosx.carbon.source".
... and Eclipse stopped working. Starting Eclipse a second time worked
like expected.
Hope that helps,
Björn
