Re: [platform-swt-dev] now available: full Swing and Java 2D integration with SWT/Eclipse
|
Maybe you just misread it - this is full native Swing support in a subclass
of SWT Canvas, with menu, toolbar, Java 2D, Swing internal frames etc.
support. Not something I got in the FAQ, or as buggy as OTI:s SWT AWT
stuff... ;-)
I apologize if you took offense. I don't think I need to apologize anymore
than OTI or IBM does for generating revenue to fund the work, though.

Subject: [platform-swt-dev] now available: full Swing and
Java 2D integration with SWT/Eclipse
If you need to integrate Swing components, applications or Java 2D code
with your Eclipse-based application, you can do it now. It's very simple to
work with the integration code -- SwingSet2 (a large Sun Swing demo
application) was integrated with SWT code in just 15 minutes with a few
changes in a single file.
For the time being, this is only available commercially, at $1000/project
(US$) as is. Additional consulting $100/hour. Will be available as Open
Source later (of course!). Email lkn@xxxxxxx for more information. And...
sorry for the shameless plug. :-)
