I believe this login prompt is a web site error. I mailed help@xxxxxxxxxxx
and hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Note that these archives are for the mailings lists only. Presently there
are only about a dozen postings in there, starting last week. The
newsgroup Veronika is refering to is news://news.eclipse.org/eclipse.tools

Hi. The reason I asked this question and didn't
search through the archives is because I cant seem to
access them. Even though I gave a username and
password for the platform-swt-dev list, whenever I try
to access the archives I get a name/password popup
dialog that won't accept my username/password pair.
