Re: [platform-releng-dev] Nightly 4.12 build failed?
There is one issue,  very obscure reason actually. 

During the final release we stop cleanup scripts. Otherwise the remove the builds that are supposed to be released.

The side effect of stopping the cleanup is I-builds composite gets swollen with more and more I-builds. This will in turn cause slowdown in updates, builds and gerrit builds.

Ideally we should come up with a new strategy for cleanup. Till that is done we need to take call on how many builds we can make before release.

Cleanups will be enabled as soon as the release is done

The development on *master* continues and each day without a build adds a potential risk to collect regressions without noticing them.

I'm fine with that but I don't know(or remember) why it's that way? Sravan, any insight?

Builds until release are usually Mon and Thu only. Not sure whether this is written anywhere though.
 
With additional builds on request.
