[platform-releng-dev] test results in nightly builds

The tests failed with

Application "org.eclipse.test.coretestapplication"
could not be found in the
registry
or
java.lang.RuntimeException: Application "org.eclipse.test.uitestapplication"
could not be found in the registry

which is very similar to this bug that
occurred last week.

I've opened another bug against releng
but again I don't think releng is the source of the problem because I ran
a successful test build on Friday without seeing this problem.
