I've reproduced the problem running
 the org.eclipse.swt.tests_win32.win32.x86_6.0
failures and fixed it.  The tests are run over the network via rshd.
 On this particular machine the rshd daemon was configured to be in
"hidden" mode as opposed to "normal" mode. Thus the
swt tests didn't open on the desktop but rather just ran in a background
process.  As well, I wrote a checklist for deploying new machines
