Here's what happened

The jdt.compiler.apt bundle had a compile
error in the 8am build
The jdt core recontributed to the 16:00
build.

However, the tag of the jdt.apt compile
bundle didn't change. Thus the old  jdt.compiler.apt bundle from the
p2 repo was used in the 16:00 build since it already existed in the p2
repo with the same tag.  New bundles with the same tag are not overwritten.

I've opened a bug against myself for
this issue.  In the interim, I'll start a new build with a clean repo
to avoid this problem.

These are the test results for the M20081112-1600 build with the M20081112-1600
binaries .    There isn't a way that the JUnit tests for one
build to run against another builds binaries. The tests all run in separate
directories that include the build name. 

I just reran the tests and the same results occurred.  

Perhaps your build input is not as expected?

There must have been some glitch in the releng builder as it appears that
the JUnit tests for M20081112-1600 were run with the binaries from M20081112-0800.
Indeed the JUnit tests for M20081112-1600 are failing because of a compile
error (the one from  M20081112-0800) but M20081112-1600 didn't have
any compile errors. 

Kim, any idea of what happened?
