The patch attached to bug 246373 looks like a fix that catches an invalid *use* of JFace, not a problem that is caused by JFace.
Do we actually know why the problem is intermittently happening?

The Team/CVS error is an intermittent issue caused by JFace and does not
indicate a problem with the build.
The JFace issue is being tracked by
