Re: [platform-releng-dev] Mea culpa

I've confirmed that (1) works with N20050526. Unfortunately, all UI tests
will still be broken.

Re: [platform-releng-dev] Mea culpa
I've tried running the midnight content of org.eclipse.ui.workbench (and
org.eclipse.core.commands, needed to compile without other errors) against
N20050525, and it fails as expected.
Workaround (1) does work. I expect (2) will work as well, but (1) is
simpler and preferable.

[platform-releng-dev] Mea culpa
The nightly build will likely be broken due to my failing to release a
class needed for the latest patch for bug 87583.
I only just realized this, and have fixed it up.
There are a couple of possible workarounds (both untested):
1) Edit plugins/org.eclipse.platform/plugin_customization.ini to have:
org.eclipse.ui/SHOW_PROGRESS_ON_STARTUP=false
2) Use the org.eclipse.ui.workbench plug-in from the previous build.
However there have been some coordinated changes between runtime and
workbench that may prevent this.
If somebody in ZRH could confirm whether either of these work, that would
be great.
I do apologize for this inconvenience. I doubt it's worth spinning a new
build in the morning, since there's one at noon, but I'll leave that
decision up to releng.
