The cvs servers's lock directory had
too many files which are now being deleted.

The CVS test failures seem to be due to a problem on the server. Here are
the error messages from the console. 

[java] E cvs [server aborted]: cannot make directory /var/lock/cvs/testFileAdditions-1109401783862:
Too many links

Unfortunately, I'm sure what it means and googling it didn't reveal anything.
On possibility is that the repository is full (although the files mentioned
are lock files). Another possibulity is that the drive on the test server
full.
