This has been fixed.  The dhcp
client automatically overwrote the changes I had made earlier in the resolv.conf.

The CVS failures are due to a networking problem (cannot locate host) and
do not indicate a problem with CVS. Can someone on the Releng team check
to see if the GTK test machine can see the CVS test server.
