I'm planning on starting some initial work on Fortran refactoring
in December. I will mostly be reacting to users needs here at LANL.
Is there anything in particular that you would like to see done?

Thanks; I'm mostly curious rather than in burning need. I came across
Photran (and it's refactoring plans) at:

My priority list of refactorings:
- Fortran77 subset higher priority than later subsets.
- variable renaming
- multiple declarations --> include file. To explain: a variable, array,
or common block, used and (redundantly) declared in multiple places. Scoop
into an include file and replace declarations with include directive.
(Improve localization/consistency).
