If it was done by accident, then I respectfully suggest that there is some severe flaw in somebody’s development process.  😉 I have not inquired about it, yet — I’m just trying to get past a block in my development of Papyrus-RT bug fixes and verification of fixes from Papyrus.  I expect the roll-back of the major version is undoing a mistaken major increment earlier in the Oxygen development stream (which perhaps indicates that flaw in the process).

I am currently working on a Gerrit patch to adapt the Papyrus-RT code for new breaking API changes in the Papyrus nightly builds:
  • major version increment in a facet framework bundle
  • major version decrement (!) the infra.constraints model bundles
  • interface method signature changes in the Papyrus NatTable extension API
I’ll follow up when this is merged, after which you’ll need to pull your git and run the Oomph setup to get the latest Papyrus APIs.
