Re: [papyrus-rt-dev] Update version number to 0.9.0

Ok, as no objections were raised, I'm merging it.

Ok, unless I've heard any objections from anyone by 18:00 CET (12:00 EST) I'll merge it.

After this one, I'll update the bundle dependencies themselves to 0.9.0 as well.

Hi, Ernesto,

My recommendation would be, if the Gerrits are green apart from these that have been failing for a long time, to push to master and we’ll deal with their pre-existing problems separately.

The RCPTT build is not obsolete, just broken.  It would be nice to expand its test coverage, but it seems to be sensitive to the kinds of UI changes that we’ve been making in the 0.9 release.  I don’t know what the the value of the Gerrit-Releng job is if it hasn’t passed in a month and all of the releng-related changes we’ve done recently didn’t even trigger it.  Perhaps somebody else on the team has background information about the purpose of this build?  Is it meant to cover contributions to the RCP packaging metadata?

Cheers,

Christian

Looks like the failure of Gerrit-Common was also random.

Anyway, all jobs succeed except for Gerrit-Releng and Gerrit-RCPTT, and because of this Hudson gives it a -1.

Gerrit-Releng has been red for 28 days and Gerrit-RCPTT for 21 days. Is there any reason to keep these jobs? What exactly do they do? Could we merge the version update even with these failing?

Thanks

Hello everyone.

I'm updating the version number to 0.9.0. The gerrit change (92414) is almost done, but we get some seemingly random failures in some test bundles. Sometimes some jobs such as Gerrit-Profile becomes UNSTABLE due to some test failures, but the result is random. Currently Gerrit-Common fails with

Any ideas for these? The Gerrit-Common error looks like it may be due to a temporary unavailability of the Papyrus nightly p2. Is that right?

In any case, this is a heads-up that a big commit is going to be merged soon. If you have any changes that modify metadata (POM files, MANIFEST.MF files, feature.xml files, etc.) please wait until this change is merged.

Thank you.
