Re: [papyrus-rt-dev] Vote for Committer status for Christian Damus was started by Simon Redding

All,

It seems that the email got a bit mangled when submitted through the portal.
Here is an easier to read version:

Remi and I would like to nominate Christian Damus as a committer on the
Papyrus-RT project. The following is a summary of his accomplishments as an
eclipse committer:

Hi, Simon, Rémi,

I would like to request nomination as a committer on the Papyrus-RT project
at Eclipse.org.  It is my intent to contribute bug fixes and new feature
development over the coming months for the 1.0 release, sponsored by
Ericsson AB, an Eclipse Strategic Member.

To support my request, I would like to draw your attention to several
contributions that I have made to the project already via Gerrit that have
been accepted:
·
·	483637	[Tooling] Only service ports shall be shown on the border of
a capsule part
·	486367	[Tooling] Ordinary attributes shall not be visualized in the
capsule structure diagram
·
·	489457	[Composite Diagram] NPE in BehaviorPortEditPolicy when port
deleted
·	489378	Large number of git EOL errors
·	487533	Fails to delete StateMachine
·	489380	[Capsule Diagram] Several NPEs when deleting a capsule port
·	487380	Setup Neon build
and also my long (3 years’) history of commits on the Papyrus project on
which Papyrus-RT is based, including the Papyrus-RT codebase while it was
still hosted in Papyrus, especially the following features specifically
targeted at Papyrus-RT:
·	433206, 464647, and 477384 — model-diagram synchronization
(“canonical diagrams"), used for Capsule and State Machine diagrams
·	465416 — diagram-to-diagram synchronization, used for Capsule and
State Machine inheritance
·	399859 — externalized profile applications, a common use case for
RSA-RTE users
·	451230 — model of Modeling Assistants in the diagrams for DSMLs such
as UML-RT, with generation of assistant models
·	468030 — language service for handling of languages variants such as
UML-RT from UML
I have also been and continue to be active in discussions and support in the
newsgroups, mailing lists, and bugzilla for the wider Papyrus community,
including Papyrus-RT (with more of a focus on the latter in recent weeks).

Thanks,

Christian

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 23 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Christian Damus must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation portal
page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be correctly
recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Marton Bur
    Stephanie Chafe
    Andrew Eidsness
    Onder Gurcan
    Denes Harmath
    Abel Hegedus
    Andreas Henriksson
    Akos Horvath
    Celine Janssens
    Benoit Maggi
    Barry Maher
    Toby McClean
    Tim McGuire
    Chokri Mraidha
    Patrik Nandorf
    Ernesto Posse
    Ansgar Radermacher
    Istvan Rath
    Simon Redding
    Charles Rivet
    Young-Soo Roh
    Remi Schnekenburger
    Zoltan Ujhelyi

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
lead, PMC member, or the EMO <emo@xxxxxxxxxxx>
