Re: [ospo.zone] Publication of the OSS Good Governance Handbook 1.0!

Thanks for sharing this, and congrats to all contributors and participants involved in the initiative!

It's been indeed a fine collaborative work, and early feedback is good -- notably from last week's Open Source Experience conference, where it was announced. 
Not long after the publication we already had some comments, additions and fixes proposed to the activities and content, which is really nice.

We'll soon set up a forum or similar for people to make comments on the activities [1] and gather feedback for the next iteration. General feedback is welcome on the ospo.zone mailing list.

It was our pleasure to announce this week the official release [1] of the OSS Good Governance Handbook.

The Good Governance Initiative[2] is a working group hosted at OW2 focusing on the best practices to set up an Open Source Program Office. The outcome is a set of guidelines, ideas, hints and roadmap elements to accompany organizations in their OSS journey. 

The resulting GGI Handbook has been published on the OSPO Zone website [3] and is also available as a PDF [4]. 

All feedback is welcome on the OSPO Zone mailing list, and if you want to contribute directly to the next iterations of the handbook, you can become a contributor to the OW2 GGI following instructions at [5].

Please feel free to distribute it and spread the word!
