Fixed the error that broke build #300.

This was reproducible in the Eclipse Hudson environment, but not when running a local build. The test script used to keep an HTTP connection open for several minutes while the tests were running. I think the Eclipse proxy didn't like that and killed the connection early. I changed the test script to repeatedly poll for test results instead, and it seems fine.
