Betreff: OpenADx Steering Committee Composition - Call for nomination
Dear OpenADx Members,
the Eclipse OpenADx Working Group Charter [1] identifies the Steering Committee will drive the various facets of the working group for which there
are elected positions to be filled.
In the case of OpenADx, the elected positions are for
Development and User Members.
(Note that Driver Members each have a representative appointed to the Steering Committee)
Through this email, we are announcing that the Eclipse Foundation will hold elections on behalf of the working group using the proposed timetable listed
below. FYI, this process is used by other working groups as well as the process used by the Eclipse Foundation itself for filling the elected positions on our Board.
All members are encouraged to consider nominating someone from a Development/User Member for the positions, and self-nominations are welcome. Nominations
may be sent to elections@xxxxxxxxxxx
using the subject line of:
“OpenADx Working Group Steering Committee - Development Member Election”
or
“OpenADx Working Group Steering Committee - User Member Election”
You may view the Member Organizations of the working group
here.
Once nominations are closed, we will inform all working group members of the candidates, and will distribute ballots via email to those eligible to
vote. The election process will follow the Eclipse “Single Transferable Vote” method, as defined in the Eclipse Bylaws [2].
The winning candidates will be announced on this mailing list after the elections have concluded.
Election Schedule
Nomination period: November 15 - 19 (self nominations are welcome)
Announcement of Candidates: November 26, 2021
Election Period: November 29 - December 3, 2021
Winning candidates announced: Week of December 6, 2021
The following positions will be filled as part of this election:
