Please note there has been a misunderstanding regarding the 14 day period for Charter review. The proposal phase lasts no less than fourteen (14) days. The date from the announcement to our membership-at-large signifies the end of the 14 day period which is the date noted on the deck. We are certainly interested in and appreciate feedback from the community which we will continue to discuss and take into account beyond mid next week.For greater clarity this is a Draft Charter. It is subject to change. The Charter is ratified during the first Steering Committee meeting by a super majority and also subject to Executive Director approval. The Steering Committee has the power and duty to update the Charter into the future as well.
Regarding some of the other topics raised on the mailing list, we are working on the FAQ for distribution next week to address further points and questions. In the meantime, feel free to reference the formal Working Group Process as well.
It's truly unfortunate we ran out of time to fully address these questions on the call. Please know, we are looking towards a date for a follow-up meeting, and we will begin the implementation of necessary infrastructure resources for the working group such as a Gitlab repository, a chat service and so on next week.
