[omr-dev] Getting started with Eclipse OMR

Hi,

If anyone is interested in starting work on the Eclipse OMR code base and engaging with the community, a great way to get your feet wet is by taking on a beginner task. There are many issues created that are labeled for that purpose and are typically smaller cleanup items that get you used to forking the repo, modifying and building the code, and forming a pull request that adheres to the Eclipse OMR Contributor Guidelines (https://github.com/eclipse/omr/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md).

Here is a handy query:

https://github.com/eclipse/omr/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Abeginner+label%3A%22help+wanted%22

Please reach out here or in the appropriate issue if you have any questions--Eclipse OMR community members are very helpful!
