Yup, for a couple of minutes the updated new.html file was missing.  It started working right at the moment that you tested the direct URL :)

"fopen failed for /home/local/data/httpd/www.eclipse.org/html/mylyn/new/new.html"

http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn/new/new.html works fine.
