Hi Peiyuan,

Have you already got a copy of mosquitto running? That would cause it to fail. A very easy way to check would be to run with a different port, e.g.

mosquitto -p 1884 -v

If this succeeds, you've almost certainly already got mosquitto running somewhere else.
