I reinstalled mosquitto and the error has gone away now.   Although still not able to subscribe via OpenHAB     Probably an OpenHAB issue

I am new to mosquito and having difficulty getting OPENHAB to subscribe to mosquito data.    I am able to pub and subscribe at the command line without starting mosquitto (seems odd)  since when I start Mosquitto.exe with the –v option I get the following error…

 

C:\Program Files (x86)\mosquitto>mosquitto -v

1442335235: mosquitto version 1.4.3 (build date 19/08/2015 13:37:44.73) starting

1442335235: Using default config.

1442335235: Opening ipv6 listen socket on port 1883.

1442335235: Error: Unknown error

Any help would be appreciated…
