Re: [mosquitto-dev] mosquitto configuration issue
I was wondering whether we can have more than 1 bridge defined in the mosquitto.conf file? I haven't had the chance to test this.

Basically my instance would act as the aggregate for multiple sites.

Right now, I've defined 1 bridge connection already which is working fine. I subscribe to the localhost (using paho mqtt client).

Ufffff. Not a little outdated, but a lot!! Use the ubuntu repo instead from mosquitto.org (download section).

The clients mosquitto_pub and mosquitto_sub are outdated too in the official repo.

Hi,

Are you sure you're on the latest version? Mosquitto latest is 1.4.2,
I don't know what version 3.1 would be apart from the old MQTT spec
version number. It's possible (but unlikely) that the version you have
hasn't got bridge and/or TLS support compiled in.
