it's great that 1.4 is coming out soon! Fantastic :-)
I know that you changed the internals to use the event library to make
it easier to add MQTT-SN support amongst other things. I have been
wondering, would this make it easier to allow Mosquitto to use multiple
threads, so that it could make use of multi-core CPUs? Assuming that
this isn't in 1.4 already.

This is your last chance to get your bugs fixed in the 1.4 release. If

release (or 2.0?). I've got ideas of my own, including potential
interface changes to libmosquitto. I'll outline my thoughts in a
future email, feel free to share your wishes.
