Re: [modeling-pmc] Sanity check on IP issue.
|
Janet,
Yes, it sounds fine to me too. It doesn't matter where folks
keep/manage/save their interim work as long as they are the only ones
contributing to the IP that's ultimately committed to a source
repository hosted by Eclipse..
Cheers,
Ed

Hi Miles,
If the PMC considers this code to have been developed under the supervision
of the PMC, and it sounds to me like it was, then I see no difficulty in
this instance.
Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks for asking.
Cheers,
Janet

Subject: Sanity check on IP issue.
Hi,
I just wanted to run this by PMC and EMO IP out of abundance of caution.
Jonas is submitting changes that he has made since becoming a committer but
not within Eclipse hosted VCS. (as we were in midst of transition to git and
gettong him up to speed on project stuff at the time.) Please see:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=324701#c10
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=324701#c17 for more info. No
response needed unless you do see a potential issue.
cheers,
Miles=
