Re: [mobile-iwg] Re: [dsdp-mtj-dev] MTJ status on helios

thanks for the information ruth. I will remove their content from MTj SVN and leave a message indicating that the content is not on Sequoyah.

Hi Gustavo,

The answer to both your questions is “yes”.

Pulsar is now being built on Sequoyah project; btw, if any of the changes to MTJ requires updates to the EPP, please let us know and we’ll update it.

Fyi, the Signing framework has also been moved to Sequoyah, but it’s not planned to be part of Helios train.

Best,

Ruth

thanks gorken! I will work on that.

just to clarify. were the pulsar related features and plugins moved to the other project? if yes, we will not need to build the pulsar feature any more with MTJ. is that correct?

besides that there were several plugins related to the signing framework that diego worked last year that are also on MTJ SVN. they are not part of the build system now and I don't plan to add them. I hope that they were also moved to the other project

This is excellent, and the timing could not have been any better. We are now concentrating on getting MTJ ready for Helios.

Please do go ahead with updating the build to Helios base, that looks like the first item to tackle now.

I am also trying to get Daniel to work with MTJ so that we have more combined committer time available.

Hi All,

I apologize for not being able actively contribute to MTJ in the pass months. I was really busy with some projects here at CESAR and there was no time left for Eclipse related tasks.

my last projects were finished and I will have some time before the start of my next ones. Since I'm not following in detail what is happening, I would like to ask you guys if you can point me to how I can contribute.

What i did today was to generate MTJ 1.1 plan according to the foundation XML format. This plan is based on some initial discussion we had a couple of months ago (main between jon, gorken and myself). I also worked on the bugzilla to review what is opened there.

I also just update the portal with MTJ tracking information. We are ok with most of the Helios requirements (specially the ones that are not new). feel free to review and do any change you think is necessary there.

I can also work to update our build to use Helios as base. I can do this quite fast since I worked on the original build and there are a couple of other simple and fast bus that I assigned to myself.

I will wait for some orientation for the list and in the meantime I will work on the bugs. I can't promisse to have a lot of time but I will do my best with the free time I have before my future project starts.

:)
