All,
As has been the case in the last few months, I've been swamped in and
out of work... therefore, I've continued to watch from "afar". I'm
going to try to get on the call on Monday if possible. I don't know
if/how I can actually help out with the potential work and planning.
If anyone has any thoughts on how I can help out given my shortage of
time, I'd be happy to hear it.
Thanks,
Craig

Re: [mobile-iwg] Pulsar Architecture Document
Hi Ian,
I agree with 1 & 2. Are you also suggesting that we continue to use
the “http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMIWG/”
for capturing feedback, discussions, etc for MIWG?

Ronnie

Ronnie,
I agree we need to set a target date, to keep the momentum going. What
about we do the following:
1. We continue to have a Pulsar meeting on April 8th at
8amPT/11amET/5pmCET. [Christian I assume we can continue to use the
numbers listed on http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMIWG/MonthlyMeetings.]
I would suggest we use this meeting to 1) make sure everyone is up to
date on the Helios release and 2) we spend some time discussing Jon's
document but not look for formal feedback. I am hoping this will be an
iterative process so ideally questions/clarifications will come up
during the process.
2. We set a date of April 16 to have consolidate feedback from all
participants. Once we have the consolidated feedback then we can
figure out the most appropriate place to document it. For now I would
suggest we use this mailing list for communication about Jon's
architecture proposal.
btw, for those that couldn't attend the f2f Pulsar meeting, meeting
minutes have been posted at http://wiki.eclipse.org/EMIWG/MembersCall-24-Mar-2010.

Re: [mobile-iwg] (no subject) Hi,
Thanks again for sharing this! It would be good to try and set a target
for getting a first pass of feedback from everyone. If I remember
correctly, at the meeting Ian was pushing for under 2 weeks which is
going to be a bit tough with this week and next being short weeks due
to holidays, but it would be a good target to help keep momentum.
I will target Apr 16 as the goal for the combined feedback from Nokia.
Also, does anyone have suggestions on where the MIWG discussions and
content should be captured. Should we continue to use the pages on
wiki.eclipse.org that Christian put together for the Galileo release?

Ronnie

Hi
folks,
Ian Skerrett asked me to forward the slides that were shown at the
Pulsar meeting at EclipseCon last week. These slides are a high level
overview of our thoughts on creating an architecture for mobile tooling
on top of Eclipse. In considering this architecture, it would be great
if we can all share our ideas on what else might belong in the
architecture, what does NOT belong, and what can we get for free from
the other projects.
