[microprofile-wg] Working Group Charter Revisions and MicroProfile Proxy

During the MicroProfile Call on Tuesday, February 9th, during the review of the Charter revisions as they relate to the Eclipse Foundation's restructuring changes, we were asked to respond to two questions as follows:

*Is an elected committer representative eligible to use a proxy?

Yes, an elected representative of a committee is eligible.

*Is an elected committer representative able to have their proxy transfer to another committer member rather than to a member of the body of the steering committee?

No.  Proxies may only be assigned to another member of the steering committee.

With respect to proxies generally, please understand that when a member uses a proxy, they are required to provide the individual to whom they assign their proxy with explicit instructions on how they wish their vote to be recorded.
