Update:
As of yesterday, the ballots have been +1 with important comments that require our attention in a future release.
Tetiana and the Jelastic team 🤗have volunteered to help with the Marketing release, but many things are missing.
Tetiana, you are most welcomed to take a look at the wiki. There is no need to start from zero. The process in place is simple, yet Holiday is here, and many of us are out.

We have used the MP media release template for years. The template in the drive is dated June 2019, so it needs an update to remove Eclipse from the name.
We have created templates for everything. With your help, maybe the guidelines could get better. Double the win!
For every MicroProfiler involved in MP 4.0 release, many tasks require attention:

- Tetiana has access to both WordPress to help update the website & Twitter MP to push content. The MP infra access has been updated MP Inventory Admins.
I start my vacation today yet feel so happy that even after we chatted on the final 2020 community hangout about MP.4.0 release not making it into 2020 due to dates we have no control over, we managed to get past it. 😇
It is a signature of grit and dedication!
If the missing stuff is not completed, we ought to leave the formal release for after January 4th. We have never done half-partial releases in a rush, and we must stop ourselves from thinking that it is ok to do so now. +1 with you on that Tetiana!

Today, Edwin, Martin and I work together to get MicroProfile 4.0 into the staging repo. For releaseing MP 4.0, the only remaining tasks are the ballot. We need the following ballot votes:
We need Tomitribe and AJUG to vote the following specs:
JWT 1.2
Open API 2.0
Open Tracing 2.0
Rest Client 2.0
Once this ballot is closed, we can push the release button to conclude MP 4.0 in 2020. Let's do it!

2. Need to stage MicroProfile 4.0 umbrella release. Edwin/Summers, it might be a good idea to use the staging dependency management tool introduced by Martin. In this way, once all of the specs are out of ballot, we can release MP 4.0 straightaway.
