  1. Is the EF G&A rate of 12% the same for all WG Projects? 
  2. If different, what are the aspects that choose a project's G&A rate?
  3. What is included in the G&A? 
  4. As it is a yearly recurrent expense for WG projects it matters that a formal EMO insight is shared about it.   After all this time on the Jakarta EE side, I still do not fully understand the G&A mechanism.    
  5. Why is there no documentation on the EF Working Group page yet? It is always a win for everyone when comprehension enabled and scalable within the formal outlets.

So very important all working group communications takes place on the MicroProfile Working Group mailing list as required for necessary governance compliance.

Please ensure the meeting's agenda contains the 2021 program plan and budget topic for discussion and subsequent approval as we go through that entire process.   The program plan identifies the priorities for which the budget needs to cover.  These two matters must be done in parallel based on projected revenues for the working group.  At that time, we can report on the 2020 expenditures required to stand up the working group.  The 2021 G&A for all working groups is set at 12%.  

We look forward to discussing and working through the entire process with the Steering Committee in the new year.

At yesterday's Live Hangout, we discussed when to host the steering committee meeting. The MPWG charter states that the Steering Committee must meet at least quarterly, so the first 2021 meeting will be on January 12th at the same time we normally host the Live Hangout. Additional meetings have been added to the MicroProfile calendar on the 2nd Tuesday of each quarter.

The currently planned agenda is here, which is just to close out AI's from our last meeting. We did briefly discuss adding the MicroProfile budget to the agenda. Please do not modify the agenda doc directly. Add any additional items that we may need to discuss to this thread. Based on this discussion, the agenda can be updated.
