The Sphinx project repository has been migrated from SVN to Git (git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/mdt/org.eclipse.sphinx.git) [1].

Then, please found in the Sphinx Wiki page the detailled information how to correctly setup your Eclipse environment for developing Sphinx with Git.
