[mdt-papyrus.dev] [Papyrus] Minutes of the papyrus weekly telco (week 24)

Hi Gentlemen, here are the minutes of the papyrus weekly telco that happen yesterday.

Participants: Sébastien Gérard and Patrick Tessier (CEA LIST) / Thibault Landré, Emilien Perico and Raphael Faudou (ATOS) / Cedric Dumoulin (LIFL) / Stephanie Chafe (Zeligsoft)

è Question of SG for Moskitters and OBEO: what is your next plan/expected contribution(s) for Papyrus? Thanks for the answer, I need it to have a clean vision of what will happen in Papyrus.

About profile support:

Remi is implementing an advanced support for applying profile within Papyrus. We can currently apply stereotype on any kind of elements, and it is possible to display the properties of the applied stereotype on node elements. It can be done in two forms: in bracketed string display just below the label showing the stereotype, or in a specific compartment of the figure denoting the node. He will continue this work next week in order to enable to display the properties of the stereotype when applied on a figure shown as an edge.

About Class Diagram Editor:

Patrick has implemented multi-dependencies and multi-associations. He is working now on Generalizsation Set and then will update Template support and then implement the feature for supporting qualified associations.

Remi has connect the framework for supporting profile apply in Papyrus.

About Composite Diagram editor:

Yann is starting again to work on it in order to make good advances before Thibault visit in CEA. This visit is scheduled for week 26.

About Use case diagram editor:

Emilien has done updates of the editors according to bugs/enhancements logged on the Papyrus' bugzilla.

Emilien raised a question to SG (task 279 387) => [SG] I will answer. Sorry ;-)

Emilien is waiting for Remi info to update Use Case Diagram with the same facilities as in Class diagram to manipulate UML profiles: [SG] Remi is in vacation this week. He will trigger a specific web meeting on this subject by the week 25 on this subject.

About Collaborative work:

Emilien and Thibault have started a document denoting the specification of the expected features for Papyrus to support Collaborative work. The document will be attached 275 628 (Collaborative Work) and it should be available tomorrow or the day after. => Everyone is expected to read it and send feedback/comments to its authors quiet quickly once the documents will be available.

About Appearance:

Thibault has worked on the gradient feature (usage of the GMF native function) => need to be finished in order to work with the preferences.

About the Papyrus automatic build:

[Thibault] Question on the automatic build: when it will be available?

[Patrick] Patrick mention an email sent by the Eclipse webmaster that gave the advice to not use the automatic build now because the Eclipse server was very loaded by now for Galileo.

[SG] Remi will be back next Monday and will investigate this point and send an email about that question to everyone.

About the wiki:

[Thibault] Investigate how to modify the existing wiki page, but do not how to create new page.

[SG] Will ask to Eclipse web master.

Eclipse Summit Europe (http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2009/)

[Thibault] Make a proposal to present Papyrus at this Summit.

[SG] 1 hour of presentation: 10 minutes of introduction / 20 minutes for the user point of view / 20 minutes for the developer point of view / 10 minutes for conclusion and next steps.

[Thibault] Need to prepare a document to propose our presentation. Thibault send SG an example.

Participants: Thibault-Emilien for ATOS / Patrick and Sebastien for CEA / Cedric for LIFL

Need to be ready but the deadline should be in end of July/August? To be check!

About the backbone:

[Thibault] Proposal to make the backbone a plug-in of the something more general than Papyrus.

[SG] The issue is to identify the place to put it?

Action: SG send an email to Kenn for getting its feedback in determining the most suitable place to put the backbone outside Papyrus in a more suitable project. The idea is to expose the core/backbone to a bigger community than the on eof Papyrus in order to get a bigger community around this component.

Sébastien.
