RE: [mdt-ocl.dev] Plug-in/Feature Ids
|
Hi Ed,
I think it's a good idea to have neutral OCL instead of OCL+version which we
do not comply with. My +1.
Regards,
- Alex.

Subject: [mdt-ocl.dev] Plug-in/Feature Ids
Hi
While checking
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=310349
I noticed that we have two features with identical titles and descriptions
(Core clones All).
Many plugins/features claim to be OCL 2.1 which will never exist.
Plugins are variously OCL ... and Object Constaint Language (OCL) ...
---
I doubt that there will be an OCL version before 2.5 that we can really
claim to comply with so I suggest we drop the OMG version.
EMF, ECF etc use short prefixes, so I suggest all names are OCL ...
Therefore for the main ones:
o.e.ocl OCL (Object Constraint language) Parser and Evaluator
o.e.ocl.ecore OCL for Ecore
o.e.ocl.uml OCL for UML
o.e.ocl.doc OCL Documentation
o.e.ocl.edit OCL Edit Support
o.e.ocl.ecore.edit OCL for Ecore Edit Support
etc
Any objections?
Regards
Ed Willink
